Politico Focus & Ericsson
Explainer Animation
My scenes focused on the inventor: acting, timing and secondary motion that make a flat illustrated character feel like a person rather than a diagram. Animated in After Effects with rigged characters, so the three of us could share assets and keep the performance consistent across the film. Related work: the Starting With Women explainer and the IMPAACT4TB animation.

Working with Duke & Duck, I created character animation for an Ericsson explainer about innovation. An Inventor’s Journey was published through Politico Focus, Politico’s branded-content studio, and follows an inventor from first idea to working product.
The piece was planned as a live-action documentary; when COVID-19 grounded the camera crews in 2020, the team pivoted to animation with the same documentary tone. Duke & Duck brought me in for the character animation, working remotely from Barcelona alongside two other animators on Katie Trayte’s art direction and illustrations.
